Back in the Swing of Things
I’ll make this short and sweet.
I’m not one to wear my heart on my sleeve, but even I have to admit, these last five months have been hell! I’ll give you guys the tl;dr version of events. I’ve had several close relatives in and out of the hospital, my own health issues, various repair issues around my home, financial issues, and to top it all off, both my wife and I each lost a beloved Aunt within a week of one another. Plus, I’m not even going to get into the set backs the rest of the XRP Crew faced. So there, I’ve said it. Now it’s out of the way. Which is good, because that’s not where my head it at right now. Instead, my focus is getting this site back up and running again.
When we first launched, I can’t tell you how much support we received from the gaming community. It was fantastic. People were reaching out to us, supporting us, sharing our content with others. Amazing. Yet, in our absence, something even more amazing happened. Those same people kept in touch, and they are still offering encouragement, even though we weren’t able to produce new content. So, for me, it wasn’t a matter of if we’d get back to XRP, but when. After all, how could anyone walk away when so many people believe in their dream?
So we’re back. I’ve got a new pile of games to record, we have a new reviewer on the crew, a veteran clan-mate has pitched in with us as well, our stream channel is plugged into the site, and slowly but surely everything that was holding us back is getting resolved.
“Don’t be afraid at all and just do it. There is nothing that you will ever miss out on if you move forward. Because you create new realities as you do.”
Here’s to new realities Replayers. I hope you’ll all join me in this journey, so we can create a few together. And as always…
Until next time,
